Great not perfect

"I like the remote overall. A few things that I think could change or be added: I don’t think the knob needs to be for changing the stim intensity. As a long time user of stim for training I have never had the need to change intensity on the fly with extremely quick reaction time. I think the knob would be better suited as a “dial a dog feature” where you could have the four use buttons set per dog and switch between them on the fly. If you dont change that knob maybe add one to the side for dial a dog. I also dont like the fact that you need your phone to change features, would be a lot better if the remote was self contained after initial configuration. I have not had the opportunity to test the range but I enjoy the idea behind the entire system!"

Amazing collar, only two pieces

"Amazing collar, only two pieces of advice. Make the collar and the remote connect with each other in under 10 seconds. Sometimes it takes one to two minutes on the high end to connect. When my dog hears the beep, he wants to go out right away, but he has to wait for it to connect. Lastly, make the collar easier to connect. Oh and one more thing, the antenna is like a foot and a half long make it a lot shorter or secure around the collar more. Do you want me to join your product design team?"

"Absolutely love the product everything I could as for in a remove system. Would recommend to anyone wanting an everyday use or all the way to a full day of hunting. One feature I would love love love to be added is pushing down the level nob (similar to other products they make) to lock the stimulus level."

"I bought this in the bundle that included a receiver. I was pretty surprised that it doesn’t come with the Path Finder 2 manual, as this is my first Dogtra purchase & have no idea how a lot of the features or the app work. All that was included was a 2-page booklet for both the receiver & the GPS connector. The Compass is marketed as a “stand alone” controller, taking out the need for your smart phone, however, certain functions (the geo-fence, for example) require it…. yet again the instructions are not provided."

"We bought our PF2 system last year before the compass was released. I kept saying the only drawback was the lack of a handheld to switch between dogs as far as training goes. Compass solves that problem it’s easy to switch between dogs for stim/vibrate plus the added yardage/ directional compass is great in the field. I rarely reference the phone now. Easily the best value on the market now for a gps system."

"Its such a help with corrections and training pups and cold weather not draining your phone so much id love to see them eliminate the pjone all together but this is definitely a big step and well worth it if youre just getting into dogs dont skimp and go with the cheaper option definitely get the compass and collars"
