"Great product. Much better than the one I bought 18 months ago."
"This It has worked very well. I really like that it has a beep recall and a light rather than just vibration and stimulation. My dog responds extremely well to the beep. It works at a good distance. My main drawback is that the collar battery does not last but two days. My old dogtra collar Battery lasted weeks before needing a recharge. But it is easy enough to plug in."
"This is my second purchase of this product but the newer version. Really like it. Has a blinking light for evenings to locate dog on night walks."
"From my experience, it’s so simple to use and definitely much needed for help with training any size dog"
"From my experience, battery lasts a long time, directions on training were clear, my dog actually gets excited when he sees the collar. Fits wide range of sizes, easy to adjust settings quickly. Has been an effective training tool. I feel safer using this tool for off leash training"
"Very happy, solidly built. I had a version of the cheap versions that never lasted. You can tell the difference in the quality of the handheld. The only reason i didn’t give it 5 stars is that is doesn’t come with a different size prong."
"Still learning how to use it and need more help. The dogs fur is thick at her neck so not sure if there is good contact"
"I used the mini educator before but didn't like the hockey puck circle shape of it. It was unnatural to hold and hard to adjust the dial with one hand. I thought I would get used to it but never did. So, I was looking for something still high quality like the mini educator, but more ergonomic that I could control using one hand. That's why I purchased the Dogtra 200iQ. This is my first time using Dogtra products, and the Dogtra 200iQ has been great so far (I like it better than my mini educator). Here's why: \- Size: handheld + collar was smaller than my mini educator. Dogtra handheld was way easier to hold. \- Sound: Dogtra has a button for just a beep! My dog's been able to recall using beep alone now which is amazing. My mini educator didn't have a sound option. \- Vibration: Dogtra vibration button has a louder vibration sound than mini educator. Dogs seem more responsive to this even when dog is highly focused on sniffing or chasing things like lizards. \- Levels: Dogtra seems to start off much lower level than mini educator. For example, one of my dogs can feel mini educator around level 10, but on Dogtra the dog is around 20-30. I tested it on my hand and don't feel anything before 20. You won't have the granularity of the levels like the mini educator using the Dogtra dial though, but this isn't a big deal because realistically I don't think you are carefully turning the dial +1/-1 at a time. Granularity is good for finding a working level but not realistic when adjusting in time sensitive situations. \- No screen: At first I was scared how to use it at night when you can't easily see what level you are on, but when you're at 0, the dial stops. So you can always reset and then adjust accordingly (you can easily guestimate how much you turn the dial with your thumb) or leave the dial at the exact level you want. If you want something tactile, you can put a tiny dried glue or something on the dial for most used level to be consistent as well. Luckily I haven't needed to use the levels since beep + vibration have been enough so far. \- Battery runtime: Good. Charging time is ok too but I think my mini educator charges faster. The small difference in charging times between the two is negligible to me."
"We’re replacing a 10-year m-old Dogtra collar, and the improvements in the new collar are fantastic, not the least of which is using USB-C for power connection."
"It has worked very well. I try to only use the vibration feature of the unit, but the stimulation is there when I need it. The handheld is very Straightforward to use and small enough to fit in your pocket."
