It’s great but I think

"It’s great but I think the controls between two dogs could be quicker to switch between with a button rather than the switch. My ET-300 from E-Collar technologies was easier to switch between dogs, but I like these Dogtra X series collars better overall so far. Battery life is excellent. I’d like to see more light options. The locator blink is nice, but a second option to keep the light on would be nice."

Just what we needed. We

"Just what we needed. We had just purchased a 1900X. Two weeks later the transmitter accidentally ended up in the fire pit. Urgh right?"

Good quality remote. Dog toggle

"Good quality remote. Dog toggle switch is too small and remote should have ability to “find” it like an Air-Tag type tech. I’ve lost two of them so far and Dogtra gives NO discounts on replacement remotes WHICH IS ABSURD. Good customer service from agents but the company’s rules are far too rigid. I also wish the receivers batteries lasted longer between charges. For the price Collars should come with both shorter prongs and longer prongs for short hair dogs and for the price the remote should come with a holster like the one from Ray Allen."

FAQs

The 1900X features a redesigned remote and e-collar setup with a double-layered protective remote front plate, central Nick/Continuous command button, tone, boost, safety lock, XPP Vibration, LED light button, and a large LED screen. It can also support up to 3 dogs.

The 1900s only offers HPP Vibration, Nick, and Continuous buttons. Both e-collars feature the ergonomic curve design, but the 1900X includes an metal protective casing, LED light, audible tone, power button, and plastic contact covers.

Users can pair the 1900s e-collar to the 1900X remote however, there are certain limitations in access to features accessible only on the 1900X e-collar such as tone, XPP vibration and the LED e-collar light.

The 1900X output levels are not equivalent to the 1900S. For example a 1900S performing at a level 14 is equivalent to a level 10 on the 1900X. Please review the 1900X Level Comparison Chart.

When transitioning from the into a new model we recommend finding your dogs new working level in this system.

The 1900X features Extreme Performance Pager Vibration, delivering a stronger impact compared to the 1900S’s High Performance Vibration.

HANDSFREE PLUS Squares are compatible with the 1900X and users can pair up to 14 squares to the 1900X or X-Series Remote Transmitter.

No, the vibration is not adjustable. It is the same strength regardless if you are on 0 or 100.

The 1900X does not take the same contact points and is not compatible with female contacts as found in the 1900S. Users will require male contact points for any X-SERIES model.
