Reviews

Great unit, over built.

"It was way more than I needed for my Labrador. There’s no comparison to the one I had from the local retailer. Hands down quality unit. My dog is learning super fast. He was a rescue with no manners and nothing but hyper. This will make you feel like you don’t have to give up on your dog. It makes your dog more confident and he looks for your commands. Again I over bought would recommend exploring some other units. I realize now I also didn’t need the hands free feature. Considering a unit as a gift for my sons Husky"

Premium build with room for clearer instructions

"The build quality stood out right away and the materials feel substantial. My main suggestion would be to make setup easier to understand. A short video linked from the manual with a QR code would be a helpful addition."

— Reid A. (5/5)

Stopped working after only a few months

"After several months of ownership, both the paging and stimulation functions quit even though the unit should have been charged. I tried restarting it, but the collar would not power down normally and then began vibrating continuously. I eventually had to leave it outside until it stopped. I have owned similar products before that lasted much longer, and the online return process was also very difficult to use."

Absolutely love everything about it!

"Absolutely love everything about it!"

— Shannon S. (5/5)

Strong response for a high-drive dog

"My dog has a lot of drive, so I needed something that could get his attention without jumping straight to a high correction. The vibration is strong, the levels are easy to fine tune, and the boost gives me another option when he gets locked onto a distraction."

— Avery D. (5/5)

Strong training tool, but water got inside

"Training results with our high-drive German Shepherd puppy have been very good when the collar is used correctly, and I also like having vibration available. Because of his thick coat, I had to order longer contact points to get proper skin contact. The bigger concern came after he went swimming: the collar stopped working and we later found water inside when the battery compartment was opened. The training performance is strong, but waterproofing was important to me and this experience was disappointing."

— Rosalie K. (3/5)

Built for serious upland training

"For upland work, this feels like a serious piece of equipment. The collar is solidly built and includes the features I would expect for hunting and field training."

— Marco D. (5/5)

A big upgrade from a budget collar

"We started with a cheaper collar and the difference was obvious right away. The vibration is stronger, the stimulation feels more consistent, and the remote has much better range. It costs more, but the overall system feels like a big step up."

— Maya E. (5/5)

More freedom and better recall

"We have used this collar for a few months and it has helped us address behaviors that could have become dangerous. It feels well made, has continued working around water, and gives our dog more freedom around our property without bothering the cattle. We changed the strap to something easier for us to fasten, but the system itself has also helped improve recall and has felt worth the cost."

— Julian V. (5/5)

Excellent collar with one belt-clip complaint

"I have owned several training collars over the years and this is the best overall setup I have used. The quality and feature set are excellent. My only real complaint is the belt clip, which is extremely tight and difficult to get onto a belt. Aside from that, I have been very happy with the collar."
