The Dogtra QL2 launcher is designed for Quail and Barn Pigeon sized training birds. The Dogtra QL2 features a vented launcher for maximum air flow to enhance scent distribution, making it easier for your dog to wind the bird in the launcher. Our patented adjustable spring tension allows adjustment of throwing height and makes for a very quiet launch, a real must for starting a shy dog on birds.

QL2 Launcher Dimensions 8.6 x 4.5 x 4.3. RR Deluxe electronics are needed to operate either PL or QL2 launcher and are sold separately.

My friend's launcher works great. . .

"Bought one myself and trying to set it up. Following the installation manual but the springs have been difficult to put on. There seems to be not enough room for the wing nut attachment area for the spring to poke through and connect. Also, the spring scuffs up the box. I'm sure once I get it . . . it will be great though."

Not big enough for some pigeons

"Used DT system launchers for years. Absolutely hated their launchers and remotes mainly due to them not being rechargeable and would mess up if even a slight bit of water got in them. Overall i like the Dogtra launchers but, my gripes are not having a door on them to slide birds in as well as them being too small for pigeons. Even though they say their large enough for pigeons i'd like to see the pigeons they used for measuring. Offer a larger size and maybe a door and this would be a perfect product."
