Can I use the 280C e-collar on the 280X remote?

Users can pair the 280C e-collar to the 280X remote however, there are certain limitations in access to features accessible only on the 280X e-collar such as tone, XPP vibration and the LED e-collar light as well as the requirement to power on the 280C requires a magnetic on that the 280X cannot provide.

Why are there only 100 levels instead of 127 levels on the 280X?

It can also support up to 3 dogs. The 280C only offers HPP Vibration, Nick, and Continuous buttons. Both e-collars are compact, but the 280X includes an LED light, audible tone, power button, and plastic contact covers.
