"First, I'm trainer for about 10 years. The 280x is great, but I would make some changes. I would make a single button to control vibration, and tone, maybe program one or other. due to not using very much, if at all. My opinion. maybe the locator light too. I do like separate buttons for nick, and continuous. Seems they should both be accessible more easily. Use one of the button spaces to a boost. One butt for continuous, one for nick, and one for boost and another to toggle between, vibration,sound, and light. Keep it simple to use, but programable, with the less used functions. Otherwise it is a awsome unit, very durable,lightweight, and compact. dogtra is very friendly, take care of any issues, helpful, DOGTRA IS A AWSOME COMPANY, VERY GOOD TO WORK WITH. THANKS EVERYBODY AT DOGTRA. . ."

"I had the Dogtra 200C on my previous dog for 14 years. He passed away and when I rescued another dog the collars batteries were dying quickly. I purchased the 280X and it is perfect. My dogs wear them all day and go for walks without a leash because I have total control with the Dogtra collar. The durability of the collars is impressive. The range and features are perfect."
