"This saved my dog from the humane society. It was my 'last-ditch-effort' for an eight month old aussie-catahoula that I rescued from an irresponsible eighteen year old girl who was not truly ready for a puppy. My neighbor said, she's gotta go, I know dogs, you'll never fix that one. I bought an hour with a trainer. And after less than 45 minutes, using number seven setting, I had a new dog. And since then, (no kidding), I have only needed to apply stimulation less than twenty times since September '23, (it's now June '25. ) The trainer said, "she's making me look good. She's a smart dog. " So "your mileage may vary", but I definitely recommend this device for getting your dogs attention. And from there it's up to you. I only use positive reinforcement, I never yell 'at' or scold. But she knows who's boss. I love vibration feature, too. The trainer said not to use that, "it scares the hell out of em", but in very highly charged situations I have used that instead of the boost. Regardless. . . From my experience, this tool is priceless."
