"Lots of new features! Works well"
"I am glad to purchase e-collar from Dogtra. So far so good. However, I am hoping that I could set up different level for different receiver because I have 3 receivers. You know each dog has its own different level, so I hope there is a feature to set up/memorize while I switch to different receiver. Thank you so much!"
"Been using cheaper Amazon & Chewy products and they failed components. Very well built, great range, water proof, This is noticeably heavier on the dogs but neither (golden & Shepard) care at all. I switched the provided collars to a previous one I had that clips on/off. They are much easier than the belt buckle style. I would like the ability to have individual intensity control for each dog, vibration & tone. Buttons are labeled with letters but not obvious until you learn which is which. The light is very bright. my goldens fur hides it pretty well. I have only found a strobe light and think a constant mode would be good. I would also like to see an option for an add on of a light the goes all the way around the neck. We have some so I use both collars at night, would be nice if they were combined and controlled by the Dogtra remote"
"Absolutely love it"
"Excellent multi dog system. Easy to pair and use with multiple dogs."
"The only thing better than this product is the customer service. My product was just past the one year mark and something went wrong with it. I called and they were so helpful!! They replaced my entire unit. They have a customer for life."
"Works great. We have 3 dogs and love the combined use of one controller and the hands free wrist bands."
"Truly, a great product our dogs are coming along Great they recommend the colors are great for training. That defense is definitely keeping her dogs out of boundaries and then the bark color works excellent as well."
"Well made. Easy to understand and operate. Accommodates all three of my dogs with one transmitter. Great product!"
"I got this set to replace my sportdog set and I picked it for 2 main reasons. The first is that it uses an analog switch to switch between dogs which is superior to a digital switch because you can tell which dog you are on without looking at the remote. The 2nd reason was the tone function, my dogs are trained to recall on a beep sound and until now dogtra did not offer a tone option on its collars. The system works well and the levels are more than sufficient for my stubborn Dobermans but the receivers themselves are quite hefty. There are a few things about this unit that could use improvement though. The fist, is that at this price point and with a digital stim level, I expected to be able to set different stim levels for each dog. That is not the case. One of my dogs is more sensitive and responds at a level 10 while my other dog is stubborn and needs a level 30, unfortunately, this makes the unit all but useless for one of the dogs because I don’t have time to be adjusting the stim level each time I need to correct one of them. The other thing I don’t love is that the tone and boost buttons are on opposite sides of the remote but feel identical, so I am always 2nd guessing wether I’m about to give the lowest possible correction (tone) or the highest (stim with boost). I remedied this by gluing a rivet onto the boost side so I can always feel it with my finger, but this should have been considered in the design - perhaps recessing the boost button or relocating it to the front which would also resolve another issue I have, which is that it gets accidently pressed because of its location. Overall, a nice set, but more thought could have gone into the design."
